Ground Breaking Ceremony

Winston Churchill High School is proud to mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter in its history with the official groundbreaking ceremony for the school’s much-anticipated expansion. This momentous occasion was made possible through the generous support of Southland Trailers, whose commitment to enhancing local education has been instrumental in bringing this vision to life.

Construction Progress Update
Date: June 2025
Scott checks in at Winston Churchill High School’s expanding weld shop where drywall is up, painting prep is underway, and much more is coming together. We’re excited for students to get hands-on learning in this inspiring space and build new skills for their future careers.
Things Are Heating Up at the WCHS Weld Shop!
Date: July 2025
The WCHS welding space is starting to take shape—seven booths are now installed, and the air makeup system is in place. With exposed HVAC and electrical, students get a behind-the-scenes view of how it all works, sparking curiosity and questions. This is just the beginning of a hands-on, industry-informed learning environment that’s built for the future.

We couldn’t resist having a little fun with this one—but seriously, look at this place! What started as an old garage is now a clean, modern weld shop we’re proud to stand behind. From the welding booths to the air makeup system and exposed utilities, this space is built to inspire learning. And hey— it definitely doesn’t smell like roaches or nothin’.
