RENN Limited Warranty

Southland Trailer Corp. extends the following warranty to the original owner of its RENN product:
Product must be owned by the original purchaser. Southland Trailer Corp. (STC), upon inspection at an STC approved Warranty facility, has proven a defect in material and/or workmanship, shall repair or replace said defect, at STC’s option, according to the warranty term for said material and/or workmanship. This warranty shall not apply with respect to any defect arising from a buyer’s or users willful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, abnormal operation or usage, failure to follow STC’s instructions (whether oral or written), misuse, or alteration or repair of the product without STC’s express written approval.
This warranty does not apply to components not manufactured by STC. These components carry their own separate manufacturer’s warranty and are, but not limited to, the following: tires, batteries, rims, axle assembly, couplers, and jacks. Separate warranty claim procedures may apply to these components. Purchasers must consult their owner’s package or the dealer from which the product was purchased regarding proper claim procedure. RENN products are not warranted against, but not limited to, deterioration and/or damage from road elements, improper wash solvents, salt, sand and or weather condition. RENN warranty will not apply to those products which have been subject to abuse, accident, neglect, or damage.
In all cases, STC’s liability is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts, or defective product, or refund of the purchase price, at Southland’s option. Southland shall have no liability for transportation, installation, removal costs, or down time. STC products, or part thereof, cannot be returned or repaired without a Warranty Authorization Number, which must be obtained by filing a Warranty Request Form and submitting to STC. All Warranty issues must be submitted to the STC Warranty Department or approved warranty centre within 14 days of discovery.
THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE ARE MADE BY Southland Trailer Corp. OR ARE AUTHORIZED TO BE MADE V/ITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT.
Southland Trailer Corp’s SOLE OBLIGATION IN THE EVENT OF A DEFECTIVE PART OR PRODUCT SHALL BE TO REPAIR OR REPLACE, IN SOUTHLAND’S SOLE DISCRETION, THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR PART. IN NO EVENT SHALL SOUTHLAND BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES OR DAMAGE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OR PROFIT) RESULTING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR ANY DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT EVEN IF SOUTHLAND SHALL HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH POTENTIAL LOSSES OR DAMAGE.
The warranty certificate must be signed by the purchaser and returned to Southland Trailer Corp., postmarked no later than ten (10) days from the date of purchase of the product. Failure to fill out and return the certificate will automatically void the warranty. The dealer agrees that he will explain the warranty policy to the purchaser. The purchaser, by signing, states he has read and agrees to the conditions of the warranty. This Warranty applies to 2017 year RENN Trailers and Newer – from in-service date.
